Red Rock want more players in Fiji 7s team

Red Rock want more players in Fiji 7s team
“My players can make a difference.”

That’s the statement from Red Rock coach Lote Rasiga after the national side’s dismal performance last week in the Dubai 7s.

Rasiga said three of his players are national team material and they have what some of the current players lack.

Rasiga is pushing for Red Rock captain Jasa Vere-malua, rover Isireli Cagi and wing Jone Macilai.

Fiji will play England at 10.22pm Saturday in its first match of the South Africa Sevens.

Fiji’s second match is against Scotland at 1.28am Sunday and the last pool match is against New Zealand at 5.58am Sunday.
