Ravoravo Rabbitohs win Vodafone Cup after defeating Police Sharks 16-14

The Ravoravo Rabbitohs have won the Vodafone Cup competition after defeating the Police Sharks 16-14.

They win $6,000.

The Police Sharks got $3000 as their prize money for being runners up.


Earlier

The West Fiji Dolphins have won the Vodafone Cup Under 18 competition after defeating West Coast Storm 16-4 at Lawaqa Park.

Manager Chris Tomlinson says this is only the second year the club has been in existence and most of their players in the Under 18 team were part of the team that won the Under 16 competition last year.

He says majority of the players are 17 years old and they are from different schools in Nadi and Lautoka.

The club won $1,000 as their prize money.

In other grade results, West Coast Storm beat the Ravoravo Rabbitohs 14-8 to win the Under 14 competition.

West Coast Storm got a prize money of $300.

The Namoli West Tigers beat the Saru Dragons 20-10 to win the Under 16 competition and also walk away with a prize money of $700.
