The battle to win the Ratu Sukuna Memorial School athletics inter-house begins at 2.45pm today with the open girls and boys 3000m at the school grounds.
Defending champions, Uluiqalau House will be boasting their track and field athlete, Eparama Duikete will be taking part in the Junior Boys Shot Put after winning silver in last year’s Coca-Cola Games and last year’s bronze medalist Aisake Vulaono who take part in the Senior Boys Javelin.
Head of PEMAC Jane Danford says that Uluiqalau House is working very hard to defend their title for the third time this year.
She says strong competition will come from the Junior grade as
Josefa Seeto of Uluiqalau House and Waisea Rotukana of Setura House will fight to win in the 100m and 4x100m events on Wednesday.
The 1500m finals will be held tomorrow at the school grounds and all the other events will be held on Wednesday at the ANZ Stadium.
