Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s defending champion, First Light Taveuni Manager Sakiasi Veitogavi says that the national selectors should look out for Peni Ramulo who was the Raka 7s tournament top try scorer last month and Abele Tuirabe who is very strong in attack and defence which can match players in bigger teams like South Africa and New Zealand.

He says they will be in action for First Light Taveuni from Friday.

First Light Taveuni will take on Sigatoka River Safari Henibua at 10.36am Friday in their first game.

They are also pooled with Police and Shangri-La Daveta.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s teams along with former All Blacks 7s captain DJ Forbes have arrived into the country.

Forbes will be unveiling his plaque on the rugby town Walk of Fame alongside the likes of David Campese, Waisale Serevi, Jonah Lomu and George Gregan.

A total 24 youth, 16 men's and nine women's teams will be participating in this year’s tournament with the Uprising Youth 7s kicking off the action tomorrow.

The prize money will see $20,000 for the winner of the Men’s and Women’s competitions while $10,000 will be given to the winner of the Youth 7s.

Defending champion Tuva Youth will take on Togobula in the opening match at 10am tomorrow at Lawaqa Park.
