Rajesh Patel will go unopposed in Fiji FA’s Presidential Election

The President of the Fiji Football Association Rajesh Patel will go unopposed in Fiji FA’s Presidential Election next Friday.

Fiji FA’s CEO, Mohammed Yusuf confirms 19 member associations out of 20 have proposed Patel’s name for the President’s position.

Yusuf says this now means that Patel is the only person who can contest for Fiji FA’s President’s position.

Fiji FA’s 81st Ordinary Elective Congress will take place next Friday at the Sugarcane Growers Council Hall in Lautoka.

Meanwhile, the group matches of the Vodafone Fiji FACT will also kick off next Friday at Churchill Park.
