Radradra scoops NRL wing and Top Try Scorer of the year award

Fiji born and Eels winger Semi Radradra has won the NRL wing of the Year and Top Try Scorer Award last night.

The 23-year-old from Somosomo Taveuni beat a stellar field of flyers that included Canterbury’s Curtis Rona, Melbourne’s Marika Koroibete and Sharks youngster Valentine Holmes.

Radradra also collected the Dally M prize for leading try scorer this season with 24 tries.

Meanwhile North Queensland Cowboys co‑captain Johnathan Thurston won the 2015 Dally M medal. This is Thurston’s fourth Dally M medal.

Thurston will be a key player in the Cowboys side when they take on the Broncos at 8.15pm on Sunday in the NRL Grand Final.

Representative Player of the Year: Corey Parker (Queensland/Australia)

Captain of the Year: Johnathan Thurston/Matt Scott (North Queensland Cowboys)
