RSMS and BMS gets first gold medal of this years Suva Zone 1

19-year-old Timoci Tukana of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School has bagged the school’s first gold medal in this year’s Suva Zone 1 competition.

The former Delana Methodist High School student moved to RSMS to repeat his year 13 studies and was a favorite in the Senior Boys Discus.

Tukana won gold after a throw of 36.05 metres while competitor Volai Berabi of Nasinu Secondary School settled for silver.

Makelesi Vunisa of Ballantine Memorial School gave BMS their first gold medal, winning the Intermediate girls Shot Put with a throw of 9.43 metres while Ofauri Emisinate of Dudley High School coming in 2nd with a throw of 8.83 metres.
