It will be the East versus the West champion when the Ratu Kadavulevu School Under 18 team takes on Cuvu College in the Coke Zero Deans semifinals this Saturday.
RKS topped the Eastern Zone edging Queen Victoria School 9-8 before clinching a hard fought win over Marist Brothers High School 10-7 last weekend in the quarterfinals.
On the other hand, Cuvu College was the champion from the Western Zone after defeating Ratu Navula College.
Some of the players who were outstanding for RKS last week included fullback Saint George Sisi Talei, center Jiuta Wainiqolo, wing Kameli Sauduadua and no.8 Anuilagi Mirialolo.
RKS last held the Deans trophy in 2015 when they beat Marist Brothers High School 8-5.
RKS will take on Cuvu College at 1.50pm Saturday in the first semifinal while QVS will take on Saint John’s College at 3.30pm.
All semifinals will be played at ANZ Stadium.
