RKS and Tailevu North win Tailevu Zone

Queen Victoria School’s sprinter Ilaitia Waqa has stamped his mark at the Coca Cola Tailevu Zone today winning the Senior Boys 100m and 200m events.

Waqa won the 100m Senior Boys final in a manual time of 11.39secs while he clocked a time of 22.44secs in the 200m final.

Kameli Sauduadua of Ratu Kadavulevu also looked good in the Intermediate Boys 400m Final after clocking a manual time of 49.88secs.

Makalesi Salele of Dawasamu Secondary won the Senior Girls 100m final in a time of 14.50secs.

Looking at the medal tally, Tailevu North won the Girls Division with 22 gold, 15 silver and 10 bronze, Wainibuka Secondary School finished second place with 9 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze while Dawasamu Secondary settled in third place with 8 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.

In the Boys Division, RKS won the Boys Division with 26 gold, 29 silver and 21 bronze, QVS finished second with 24 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze while Saint Vincent College finished third with 2 gold 1 bronze.
