The Republic of Fiji Military Forces has accepted the challenge from the Fiji Police Force ahead of next month’s Sukuna Bowl Challenge.
RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says it has always been a challenge and painful building up in recent years because they were on a drought of winning the prestigious bowl until last year.
Naupoto says they won’t let the Sukuna Bowl slip away easily from them this year as they have enjoyed the win in last year’s battle between the two armed forces.
The RFMF Commander says they know the pain they had to go through to strive for a win but they would prefer to enjoy the victory they achieved last year.
Meanwhile Assistant Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says that Team Police will put non-violence aside and be aggressive on the field to try and take the Sukuna Bowl back to Nasova.
Army will take on Police in the Sukuna Bowl rugby challenge on 23rd November at the ANZ stadium.
