The Fiji Airways Drua have looked invincible at times in this year’s NRC but Queensland Country are confident that if any team can stop the Drua it would be Country themselves.
Country is the only team to beat the Drua this year, a 51‑27 win in round three and they have never lost to Fiji since the Fijians entered the competition in 2017.
The defending champions, Queensland Country’s Captain Duncan Paia’aua says their 3‑0 record would certainly give them faith they can get the job done this weekend.
Meanwhile Fiji Airways Drua Coach, Senirusi Seruvakula has named a strong side to go head to head with the Queensland Country in the final of the National Rugby Championship this weekend.
The team includes Frank Lomani, Alivereti Veitokani, Apisalome Vota, Levani Kurumudu, Apisalome Waqatabu and Mosese Voka who have been consistent through out the tournament.
The Drua will take on Queensland Country at 3.30pm tomorrow at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM on 92.2FM.
