With government’s vision to promote and encourage Fiji made products, local brand Qaqa has opened their first ever retail shop at the FNPF Plaza in Suva giving customers more brands to choose from in Fiji.
Qaqa Brand Manager Biu Tadranu says they have been around for a decade but started promoting the brand this year which has resulted in their first retail shop.
Tadranu says the name Qaqa which means victory is committed to supporting grassroots rugby, soccer, netball and other sports around the country.
The Qaqa Brand which originally the Jacks of Fiji brand has sponsored the HFC Bank Farebrother holder Namosi, Naitasiri, Suva and Nadi rugby team and also school teams such as Suva Grammar School, Lelean Memorial School, Ratu Navula College during the Coke Zero Deans competition.
Some of their brand ambassadors including Fiji Under 20 coach Koli Sewabu, Miss Nasinu 2017 Hailey Qaqa and Nadi soccer captain and Fiji soccer rep Vereti Dickson.
Tadranu believes there are plans to open their shop in other parts of the country including the north and the western.
