The deciding factor of the Coke Zero Deans Under 18 final this weekend will come down to the team that plays to the last minute.

Both schools, Queen Victoria School and Ratu Kadavulevu School have both claimed hard fought wins in their respective zones and know the importance of absorbing pressure.

RKS held on to beat Marist Brothers High School 10-7 in the quarterfinals and had more breathing space to claim a comfortable win over Cuvu College last week.

On the other hand, QVS fielded their second string team against Ratu Navula College in the quarterfinals before making seven changes to their side that edged Saint John’s College 15-13 in the semis.

The two teams met at the Eastern Zone final where RKS won 9-8 through the boot of their star fullback Saint George Sisi Talei.

The Under 18 final between RKS and QVS kicks off at 5.30pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
