Cuvu College and Queen Victoria School have qualified for the Under 18 semifinals of the Vodafone Super Deans.
Cuvu College was the first team to qualify after thrashing Nasinu Secondary School 46-13 at the ANZ Stadium this morning.
Outside centre Sevuloni Lutu and halfback Mesake Tove scored two tries each for Cuvu College.
The other tries for Cuvu College came from Mosese Vunimakolevu, Ratu Jone Naulunisau, Sirilo Lala Junior and Apenisa Kuruisaqila.
Kalaveti Mokosiro and Anare Rakala scored the two tries for Nasinu .
Cuvu led 17‑8 in the first half.
In the second quarterfinal, Queen Victoria School edged Natabua High School 8-5.
Lesi Korovavala scored for Natabua while Onisimo Korobola scored a try for QVS. Natabua led 5‑3 in the first half.
In the other Under 18 quarterfinals, Marist Brothers High School will face Lelean Memorial School at 2pm while RKS will face Latter Day Saints College at 3.30pm.
In other grades, the Lelean Memorial School Under 14 team was the first team to qualify for the semifinals after beating Nasinu 12-10.
The Suva Grammar School Under 14 team thrashed Vunimono High School 42-0, Marist Brothers High School beat QVS 12-3 while RKS outclassed Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 56-nil.
In the Under 15 grade, QVS beat Ratu Navula College 17‑12, Natabua edged Grammar 19-13, RKS beat Saint Bedes College 41-12 while Marist Brothers High School beat Lelean Memorial School 12-0.
In the Under 16 grade, RKS thrashed John Wesley College 24‑0, Ba Provincial beat Suva Grammar School 30‑15 while QVS beat Cuvu College 15-5.
