Defending Deans Trophy champions, Queen Victoria School breathed a sigh of relief yesterday when they beat the Lelean Memorial School U-19 side 12-7 and also wrestled the Lutubula trophy.

The win for the boys from Vulinitu meant that they keep their chances of playing in the national quarter final alive and will have to beat Saint John Cawaci next week.

National U-20 fullback, Kini Murimurivalu kicked 4 penalties for his side while Lelean replied with a converted try.

LMS and RKS have qualified from the Eastern Zone while the 3rd place will be decided next week when QVS takes on Saint John Cawaci.

Meanwhile, in the Southern Zone the U-19 final this afternoon, Suva Grammar takes on Nasinu Secondary School.
