Proud moment for family and fans as they meet the Flying Fijians team

It was a proud moment for two youths as they met the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians team for the first time.

14-year-old Jefica Buadromo and 16-year-old Kaveni Leka say they came from Savusavu to Suva for their school holidays and meeting the Fijian team in real life is a memory they will take back with them to Savusavu.

Buadromo whose favorite player is Jale Vatubua said meeting Vatubua is something magical, just like a fairy tale while Leka’s favorite player is Semi Radradra and he could not hold back his joy as he took a selfie with his idol.

Meanwhile, fans turned up in numbers at Albert Park this morning to get a chance to meet the 32 member squad of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians to the Rugby World Cup.

Players took time to sign autographs and take selfies with the fans after their training session this morning.

Viti FM personality Roks “ouch mama” Nabuta was a big hit with the fans as he entertained fans with his hilarious jokes and dance.

He also took time to make his famous “ouch mama” videos with Ben Volavola, Filipo Nakosi and Josua Tuisova.
