Professional Estonian soccer players to feature against Fiji this Sunday

19-year-old, Mattias Kait who plays as an attacking midfielder for English Championship club Fulham

Professional Estonian soccer players who feature prominently in top league divisions of Finland, Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Netherlands and Norway will play against the Vodafone Fiji Soccer team this Sunday.

This is also the first time after 37 years that a team ranked below 100 is visiting Fiji.

Fiji lost to Mexico 2-0 in 1980 in Suva.

Estonia who beat Malta 3-nil yesterday are ranked 80th and will surely play an expansive style of football against the Fijians.

19-year-old, Mattias Kait will be a player to watch who plays as an attacking midfielder for English Championship club Fulham.

24-year-old Karol Mets who plays as a centre back and a defensive midfielder for Dutch club NAC Breda will also be one of the players to watch out for.

He plays against teams like AFC Ajax.

The Estonia soccer team arrives at 8am this Friday and will be hosted with a welcome ceremony at the Nadi International Airport.

Fiji will take on Estonia at 3pm this Sunday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
