The top contender for the Intermediate boy’s 100 metres event for the Coca Cola Games is confident of breaking Banuve Tabakaucoro’s record.
Aaron Powell of Gospel High School who clocked a time of 10.66 seconds in the Fiji Games last week says he has been working hard to achieve his goal.
Record holder, Banuve Tabakaucoro who set this record of 10.71 seconds in 2009 for Marist Brothers High school is anticipating the record to tumble this year.
He added Suva Grammar school’s Jacob Waqanivalu will also be a threat in the event.
The Coca Cola Games will be held tomorrow and Friday at the ANZ stadium and you can catch live commentaries of selected events on our sister station VITI FM.
