Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s star, Jerry Tuwai says the postponement of the Hong Kong and Singapore 7s does provide the players with extra time to rest.
However Tuwai says they still need that game time.
Tuwai says the management is trying to organize plans on how the team will be utilizing the time in April.
Coach Gareth Baber has highlighted they have talked to other countries about the potential to generate competition during the Hong Kong and Singapore 7s period.
Baber says the postponement of the two tournaments does affect their plans for the Olympics.
He says they have spoken to Australia and New Zealand and will see how that goes.
Meanwhile, Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and South Korea for the Los Angeles 7s.
The Los Angeles 7s will be held next Sunday and the 2nd of March.
