The Police soccer team has dedicated its 2-1 win in the Sukuna bowl challenge to Simione and Uliasi Tamanisau whose brother will be laid to rest this hour.

Simione Tamanisau scored the first goal for Police in the first half and was just about to leave the TFL National stadium to say a final goodbye to his late brother.

But Army made a comeback and Labasa soccer player, Apisalome Turuva equalised for Army.

Tamanisau then decided that he will not leave his Police team and continued playing in the second half.

Then it was left for Ba soccer player Ronald Lawrence who got the winner for Police in the dying stages of the game.

Lawrence said all the Police officers thought that Tamanisau will not play for the Police team today but the Rewa team goalkeeper joined them this morning.
