A first half double to Dylan Walker looked likely to set up a big victory for the Sea Eagles in front of a big home crowd, but Trent Barrett's side crumbled late in the game as Penrith launched a second half comeback inspired by some Matt Moylan brilliance.
In the NRL points table, the Storm leads with 24 points, the Sharks sitting on 22 points while the Cowboys are in third place with 18 points.
Meanwhile, the Dragons will take on the Bulldogs at 6 tonight while the Sharks will meet the Cowboys at 9pm.
