PM treats Special Olympics team to McDonalds

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama treated members of the Fiji Special Olympics team that visited parliament yesterday to McDonalds.

Bainimarama paid for everything himself.

Team Fiji to the Special Olympics collected a total of 17 medals at World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi earlier this month.

He says the Fiji Special Olympics Team will also be hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Thursday where they will receive some rewards.

Bainimarama says they are also thinking of sending the team to Sweden in 2 years’ time.

The Fiji Special Olympics team collected a total of 17 medals at the 2019 Special Olympics Summer Games.
