Over a hundred children to participate in Kids for Basketball Clinic this week

Over a hundred children will be participating in the Kids for Basketball Clinic this week.

Basketball Fiji’s Chief Operating Officer, Laisiasa Puamau says these children will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the game and take part in a 3x3 basketball competition on Friday.

He says the winners of the competition will go on an all expenses paid trip to Bali to participate in a Basketball and Leadership workshop in September.

Meanwhile, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Basketball Fiji and Damodar City earlier today.

Damodar City is providing the venue and will take care of logistics for the competition.

Marketing Team leader of Damodar City, Manoa Puamau says the tenants of Damodar City will be sponsoring a 3x3 kids team and provide them with uniforms and the sponsors will accompany the winning team to Bali.
