Only 1 player had tested positive for drug use during BOG pool games - FFA

The Fiji Football Association has confirmed that only one player had tested positive for drug use during the pool games of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants over the weekend.

Fiji FA CEO, Mohammed Yusuf says they had conducted 53 tests adding it is a big improvement from the Vodafone Fiji FACT where about 9 players had tested positive from 36 test.

Yusuf has thanked the district officials and players for taking their message of making football clean.

Meanwhile the first semi final between Rewa‑Labasa will be played at 7.30pm this Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park.

The second semi‑final between Lautoka and Nadi will be played at 3pm on Saturday at Churchill Park.

The final will start at 2.30pm this Sunday at Churchill Park.
