The 2019 Oceania 7s will feature some of the best teams in sevens rugby.
Fiji as the defending Oceania 7s champion will defend their title against teams such as New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, Tonga and Japan.
New Zealand who has won the most HSBC World Sevens series titles will be one of the threats to the Fijian side and they will try to make amends for their 17-12 loss to Fiji in last year's final.
Another team that is using this tournament as a preparation platform is Japan, who will be hosting the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The Australian side will be trying to finish on a high at this year's tournament as they ended last year in fourth place.
The Oceania 7s tournament will be held from the 7th to the 9th of next month at the ANZ Stadium in Suva
