Niurua appointed new Fiji 7s team manager

Naval Officer Jone Niurua is the new Manager of the Vodafone Fiji 7's team.

Fiji Rugby Union’s CEO, John O’Connor confirmed this in a press conference today saying Niurua will assist Gareth Baber in next leg of the World 7's Series.

Ropate Kauvesi has decided to step down from the Manager’s post as he wants to spend more time with his family.

Kauvesi has been with the Vodafone Fiji 7s team as the Manager since 2013 with former coach Ben Ryan.
