Welsh referee Nigel Owens has been confirmed as the referee for Sunday's Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and Australia in Twickenham.
The appointment was no surprise, after he was not picked for the semifinals.
The Television Match Official is Shaun Veldsman of South Africa.
Owens says this is a huge honor and a privilege for him with his third World Cup.
Owens controlled three pool matches, and the quarterfinal match-up between New Zealand and France.
