New Zealand Rugby and the Hurricanes have locked up Jordie Barrett and Ardie Savea for another year.
The emerging All Blacks stars have both signed contract extensions that will see them stay in Wellington until the end of 2019.
All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen says Ardie and Jordie are both incredibly talented players in their own right and have been outstanding and they look forward to working with both of them.
Barrett and Savea will both elaborate on their extensions on this afternoon.
In this week’s Super Rugby quarter finals, the Hurricanes take on the Chiefs at 7.35pm Friday, defending champions, Crusaders will meet the Sharks at 7.35pm Saturday, the Waratahs the only Australian team in the Super Rugby finals face the Highlanders at 10.05pm Saturday, while the Lions meet the Jaguares at 1.05am Sunday.
