Netball Fiji coach confirms that trials will be happening this Saturday for Pearls

Fiji Netball Head Coach Vicki Wilson confirms that they will be having trials this Saturday for the Pearls extended squad ahead of the Netball World Cup in July.

Wilson has confirmed that the Pearls have already begun strength and conditioning training adding that following these trials she will have a clear indication of which players is making themselves available for World Cup selection.

Wilson says the Fiji Pearls have secured test matches with the Silver Ferns, Samoa, Singapore and the New Zealand Men’s netball team ahead of the World Cup in July 2019.

The Fiji Pearls have been drawn in Group C in the pool stages of the Netball World Cup with Jamaica, South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago.

The Pearls are ranked 14th in the latest ranking of the International Netball Federation.

The 2019 Netball World Cup will be held from the 12th to the 21st of July in Liverpool, England.
