Nelson Asofa-Solomona set for long-term contract extension with Melbourne Storm

Melbourne Storm are set to lock down man mountain Nelson Asofa‑Solomona with a long‑term contract extension.

Already contracted until the end of next season, the new deal would keep Asofa‑Solomona one of the game's most damaging forwards in purple until 2022.

The announcement is expected to be announced once Sunday's grand final clash with the Roosters wraps up his season.

The Melbourne Storm will meet the Roosters in the NRL Grand Final at 9.20pm Sunday.
