Coca Cola Games Boys defending champion Natabua High School will focus on the Lautoka Zone first before moving to defend their title this year.

Athletics coach Sairusi Naituku says they are impressed with some athletes who want to stamp their mark again this year.

They include Tyrone Chambers, 2015 Chow games sensation Douglas Matakibau and senior athlete Waisale Dausoko.

Junior boys 100 metres defending champion, Chambers defended his event for the Mars House while Douglas Matakibau won the 200 metres final.

Natabua Senior boys Blue Ribbon hopeful Waisale Dausoko won the 100 metres and the Senior Boys Long Jump event in their inter-house.

Dausoko won two gold medals last year and also represented Fiji at the Pacific Games.

Venus currently leads the medal tally of the Natabua High School Inter-house Athletics meet as day two of the competition continues at the school grounds today.

They have 13 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze, Mars is second with 10 gold, Pluto is in third place with 9 gold medals while Jupiter is in last place with 6 gold medals.

Natabua High School won the Coca‑Cola Games boys division last year with 17 gold, 11 silver and 5 bronze.
