The Natabua High School athletics team will go in as underdogs at this year’s Coca Cola Games.
Natabua Head of Pemac Lionel Danford says two of their top athletes, Jope Samuwai and Isireli Latidreketi have gone overseas while the rest will be competing again this year.
Tomasi Orsborne of Venus House won the senior boys 100 metres final with the time of 11.55 seconds.
Orsborne finished second in the Coke Games Blue Ribbon event last year and is one of the favorites to win this year.
Some big names that will participate again for Natabua this year include Tyrone Chambers, Julian Vuetibau, Colin Vassie and George Vokiti.
Pluto and Jupiter are currently leading the points table in the Boys and Girls division respectively.
Pluto are leading the boys division with 165 points, Venus is in second place with 154 points, Mars is in third place with 149 while Jupiter is in fourth place with 114 points.
In the girls division, Jupiter is leading with 118 points, Mars is second with 74 points, Venus is third with 57 points while Pluto is in fourth place with 20 points.
Meanwhile the RKS interhouse is also underway, Maa’fu House is leading with 13 Gold, Sukuna is second with 5 Gold, Degei is third with 4 gold while Cakau is in fourth place with 3 gold.
