Nasinu soccer team’s coach Nathan Shivam has rubbished claims that there is a rift between players as the association has brought some new players in the player transfer window for the new season.

Nasinu acquired the services of players like Manasa Levaci, Leone Damudamu, Savenaca Baleidrokadroka and Leisari Qalica for the IDC and the new soccer season.

There have been some claims on the social media that some of the players who helped Nasinu qualify to the Premier competition have not been considered for the IDC.

Nasinu qualified to play in the Premier competition after a long eight years and will face top teams like Labasa, Lautoka and Ba in their group matches of the Courts IDC this weekend.

Shivam says selection for IDC was based on players performance.

The 2018 IDC begins this Friday at the ANZ Stadium, where Rewa will play Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa will play Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva will play Nadi at 6pm while Ba will play Lautoka at 8pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of the Nasinu‑Labasa, Suva‑Nadi and Lautoka‑Ba matches on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
