Nasinu Secondary’s Navukula puts his hands up for Blue Ribbon event

Peniasi Navukula of Nasinu Secondary School has put his hand up to contest for the Blue Ribbon event at this year’s Coca Cola Games.

The 19-year-old from Nakelo in Tailevu won his 100 and 200 metres heats with the manual time of 11 seconds and 23.07 seconds respectively.

Navukula did not run in last year’s Coke Games and is looking forward to dropping his time before the Suva Zone 1 and the Coca Cola Games.

The Nasinu Secondary School Inter-House is currently underway at the ANZ Stadium with the 4x100 and 4x400 metres relays taking place while the 100 metres finals will be held this afternoon.

The Suva Zone 1 will be held on the 30th of this month while the Coke Games will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of next month at the ANZ Stadium.
