Nasinu U18 on attack against Suva Grammar

The Nasinu Secondary School Under 18 team is a strong contender for the National Coke Zero Deans title this year.

As Southern Zone champions, they will enter the national quarter finals next weekend undefeated.

The only team that has given Nasinu Secondary School a tough run this season was Marist Brothers High School after they drew in the early stages of the Southern Zone competition.

Nasinu Secondary School will face Saint John’s College in the quarter finals of the Coke Zero Deans next Saturday.

Coach Sikeli Kalouniviti says it is teamwork that has been their strength this season but they still expect a tough battle from Saint John’s College as they had reached the final of the Under 17 grade last year.

Last year, Nasinu reached the semifinals of the Coke Zero Deans.

In other Under 18 quarterfinals, Suva Grammar School will meet Cuvu College, Queen Victoria School will play Ratu Navula College while Ratu Kadavulevu will face Marist Brothers High School.

The competition will be held next Saturday.

Queen Victoria School is the defending champion of the Coke Zero Deans trophy.
