Counties Manukau blind side flanker in the Air New Zealand Provincial championship, Rupeni Nasiga has been drafted into the Fiji Warriors side for Saturday's game against the Junior Waratahs.
Coach Reverend Joji Rinakama had brought in Nasiga to add experience to the side as most of the key players are unavailable.
Nadroga duo Sailosi Rabo and Emosi Vucago will travel with the Fiji 7s team to Australia, fullback Kini Murimurivalu had shifted his focus on his examination next month while prop Viliame Seuseu and number 8 Samu Kunanitu are injured.
Rinakama will now rely on the services of national Under 20 rep Waqabaca Kotobalavu and William Saukuru to try and put together a formidable combination to face the Junior Waratahs.
Rinakama said the challenge now is on the players to lift their performance knowing that they are facing a side which has players from the Super 14 competition in their line-up.
The Fiji Warriors will take on the Junior Waratahs on Saturday evening at 6pm at Churchill Park.
