Local boxer Savenaca “Iron Man“ Naliva is set to face the biggest boxing challenge in his career when he takes on Fiji-based Ghana boxer, Joseph Kwadjo at Prince Charles Park tomorrow night for the vacant Fiji Light Heavyweight Title fight.
These two fighters were supposed to face off in 2017 but the fight did not happen as Joseph Kwadjo was involved in an accident.
Naliva is from Sorokoba in Ba.
He started boxing as an amateur in 2010 following in the footsteps of his father Filimoni Naliva Senior who was once Fiji’s Heavyweight Boxing champion.
Naliva took out Opeti Tagi in their fight in June last year.
The fight weigh-in will be held in Nadi at 2.30 this afternoon.
The boxing program will start at Prince Charles Park from 4.30pm tomorrow.
Another fight to look forward to will be between former Fiji heavyweight champion Petero Qica and Sikeli Navuni.
