Fijian born winger Noa Nakaitaci is in line to make his debut for France in the Six Nations against Italy this Sunday.
The Clermont winger had been included in a provisional 31‑man squad for the Six Nations earlier this year.
He was part of the French team that toured New Zealand in 2013 but did not play in a test but only featured in a tour game against the Blues.
France coach Philippe Saint‑Andre said Nakaitaci has become an undisputed first‑choice at Clermont and progressed enormously this season with impressive club form.
Nakaitaci represented Lautoka in 2008 and captained the national Under 19 side in 2009.
He attended Tilak High School and RKS before moving to France in 2009 to pursue his rugby dream.
Nakaitaci is originally from Naluwai in Naitasiri.
France will take on Italy in the Six Nations championship this Sunday at 3pm .
