Nadroga to dig deep against Suva

The Nadroga 15's rugby team will have to dig deep to defend the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy against Suva next Saturday.

The Stallions held off a strong Northland side with a 12 all draw yesterday at Lawaqa Park in a game that could have gone either way.

Nadroga had to rely on the newly introduced Television Match Official to allow the first try to Setefano Somoca before number 8 Etonia Naba crossed the try line for their second try.

Nadroga led 12-6 at half time but Northland came back with two penalties for a 12 all draw and were unlucky when fullback Josefa Bola missed a penalty which could have won them the game.

Nadroga will host Suva next Saturday at Lawaqa Park.
