The defending champion BLK Nadroga has survived its first challenge of the HFC Farebrother Cup after defeating Nadi 26-23 in a tough match this afternoon.
Kiliaci Vuibau converted 3 penalties in the first half.
Nadroga’s first try came from Eremasi Radrodro while Apisalome Waqatabu scored their second try to give them a 23-5 lead in the first half.
The Jacks of Fiji Nadi bounced back in the second half where they converted two tries which they drew 23-all.
Tikilaci Vuibau converted their last penalty in the last minute to give Nadroga a 26-23 victory.
Meanwhile, Stallion’s Captain Nemani Nagusa thanked all the supporters who turned up in numbers to support the players.
Meanwhile the Stallion will host Vatukoula at 3pm at Lawaqa Park next Saturday.
