The Nadroga soccer team managed to hold Ba nil-all in the Vodafone Fiji FACT at Prince Charles Park.
Both teams missed a number of scoring opportunities as Nadroga’s strong defence made it hard for Ba to score in this match.
It was a setback for Ba soccer as striker Abbu Zahid was ruled out of this match due to ankle injury.
Nadroga’s goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca said it was a very tough match against Ba and they are now focussing on beating Lautoka tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Tailevu Naitasiri is the first team to crash out of this tournament after they were walloped by Suva 4-0 earlier this afternoon.
Napolioni Qasevakatini scored twice while Rusiate Matererega and Dave Radrigai scored a goal each.
Suva Captain Pita Rabo says this was an important win for Suva after their loss last week.
Labasa will take on Rewa at 5.30pm today and Nadi will face Lautoka at 7.30pm.
