Action from the Nadroga vs Lautoka match

Nadroga have been crowned the champions of provincial rugby after the side successfully defended the HFC Farebrother Sullivan Challenge beating Lautoka 25-15 at Lawaqa Park.

Tuiba Batiratu dived over the try-line in the 4th minute of first half to score the first try for Nadroga.

Nadroga continued pressurizing Lautoka defense and Apete Daveta scored another try as the Stallions led 15-3 at half-time.

Lautoka came focused in second half and Maikeli Sivo scored Lautoka’s first try in the 11th minute from a quick tap deep inside the Nadroga territory.

It did not take long for Nadroga to rake in more points and Apete Daveta got his second try for the Stallions.

Lautoka managed another try through Atunaisa Uluimoala in the 35th minute but it was not enough as Lautoka missed couple of crucial penalties.

Nadroga has also set an incredible record this year as the side has only lost two games this season which was in the Skipper Cup competition.

Nadroga’s captain, Nemani Nagusa said this is a special win for the Stallions.
