Nadroga beats Nadi to retain Farebrother Title

The BLK Nadroga side has successfully retained the HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge Title for the sixth time after defeating Nadi 32‑13 today.

Nadi draw first blood with a try from number 7 Meli Rokoua however Nadroga’s Joeli Lutumailagi equalized just minutes later.

Nadi was than awarded a penalty kick which they then converted and pushed their lead to 8‑7.

Nadroga came back strongly with a try from Sakiusa Nadruku and a conversion from Apisalome Waqatabu which extended their lead to 17‑8.

Other tries for Nadroga came from Ifereimi Tovilevu and Iliesa Leca.

Meanwhile, Nadi’s Jolame Luvevou scored a consolation try in the last few minutes of the game.

Nadroga will now face Macuata in the 7th HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge next Saturday.
