The Nadi soccer team has stamped their mark as the team to beat in the final of the Courts IDC after a comprehensive 3 - nil win over Nadroga in the second semifinal.
Nadi dominated the game right from the start of the match as they orchestrated their game plan by shutting out the Nadroga attacking play which saw them beat Ba and Lautoka in pool play.
Nadi’s goals came from striker Josefata Dugucagi and in the second half Samuela Drudru and veteran player Veresa Toma grabbing the extras for the Jetsetters.
Speaking to Fijivillage after the match, Nadi’s goal scorer Samuela Drudru said it was a tough game but they were confident of a victory.
Meanwhile, Suva will be banking on the support of their home fans when they will front up against a fired up Nadi side after beating Lautoka 2-1 in the first semifinal.
Suva’s goals came from Napolioni Qasevakatini and veteran Pita Rabo.
Lautoka fought hard to come back into the match but the Capital City side maintained their strong defense to keep Lautoka at bay.
