Nabura ruled out of 2019 Super Rugby season with knee injury

There is now confirmation from the Highlanders that Fiji-born wing Tevita Nabura has been ruled out for the 2019 Super Rugby season.

He is suffering from a knee injury.

NZ media report that Nabura got injured in training last week.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student has shown some good preseason form including three tries against the Waratahs.

Nabura and Waisake Naholo are not included in the Highlanders team to play the Chiefs in the season opener in Hamilton at 6.35pm Friday.
