Liverpool’s Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah

Liverpool’s Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah has been voted BBC African Footballer of the Year for 2017.

He has beaten Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Chelsea’s Victor Moses for the award.

Salah is currently the leading goal scorer in the English Premier League with 13 goals.

Salah and Liverpool will play West Brom at 9am Thursday in the English Premier League.
