Flying Fijians halfback Nikola Matawalu scored a try for the Glasgow Warriors as they beat Benetton 38-19 in the Guinness Pro14 this morning.
Matawalu who played on the wing scored one of the Glasgow Warriors six tries in the 76th minute of the match.
There is still no definitive timeline on when Leone Nakarawa would be back in a Warriors jersey.
Nakarawa arrived in Glasgow on Friday.
He signed a deal that lasts until the end of the season.
Nakarawa rejoined the Glasgow Warriors after being sacked by French club Racing 92 following his late return from the Rugby World Cup.
Coach Dave Rennie told The Scotsman – Scotland’s National Newspaper that they need to get clarity on where Nakarawa is physically and they will start making decisions around that.
He says Nakarawa has a lot to learn in terms of their lineouts and his role within the structures.
