Olympic 7s Gold Medalist and Flying Fijians flanker Viliame Mata and Fiji 7s playmaker Alivereti Veitokani training with the Fiji Airways Drua team.

Olympic 7s Gold Medalist and Flying Fijians flanker Viliame Mata and Fiji 7s playmaker Alivereti Veitokani has joined the Fiji Airways Drua camp ahead of the top of the table clash with Perth Spirit on Saturday.

Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula says the duo will come in for the injured utility back Peceli Nacebe and Apisai Tauyavu-ca.

Seruvakula confirms that Nacebe will be out for three months which means that he will not have anymore part for the Drua this season while Tauyavuca will be out for three weeks.

Seruvakula believes there is a lot of depth within the squad and new players will always aim to raise their game and prove themselves for consistent selection.

Meanwhile, after being rested with concussion last weekend, Drua captain John Stewart is expected to play again this weekend.

Stewart says they cannot afford to make mistakes against Perth.

After round three, blindside flanker Filimoni Seru and number 7 Mosese Voka were named in the Round Three Team of the Week.

The Perth Spirit will arrive into the country tomorrow afternoon while the Drua will name their team tomorrow.

The Drua will take on Perth Spirit at 5pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM 92.2FM.
