Marist Brothers High School and Saint Joseph's Secondary School are currently leading the Suva Zone 2 Fijivillage Medal Tally.
Marist is leading the boys division with 6 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze. Suva Grammar School is in second place with 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze while Gospel High School is in third place with 1 silver and 1 bronze.
Saint Joseph's Secondary School is leading the girls division with 5 gold and 3 bronze, Suva Grammar School is in second place with 1 gold and 4 silver while Ratu Latianara Secondary School is in third place with 1 gold.
A 22-year-old record was broken this morning by Erika Fonmoa of St Joseph's Secondary School in the Sub Junior girls High Jump with a jump of 1.42 meters.
The old record was 1.35 meters set by Cema Loma of Gospel High School in 1992.
Looking at the 100 meters heats, Joseva Tabakaucoro of Marist Brothers High School clocked the fastest time in his heat with 10.77 seconds manual time in the Intermediate Boys 100m.
Meanwhile, in the senior boys 100m heats, Anare Lovobalavu of Marist Brothers High School clocked the fastest time of 11.24s while Tony Lemeki clocked a manual time of 11.50s.
