Marist and Gospel win Suva Zone 1

Marist Brothers Primary School and Gospel Primary School have been crowned the champions of the Suva Zone 1 Primary Schools athletics competition at the ANZ Stadium.

In the boys division, Marist Brothers Primary School won 18 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze medals and second was Suva Methodist Primary School with 7 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals while Saint Marcellin Primary School finished in third place with 4 gold, 12 silver and 8 bronze medals.

Gospel Primary School finished on top in the girls division with 12 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals while Saint Marcellin Primary School finished second with 10 gold, 13 silver and 12 bronze medals.

Stella Marist Primary School finished third in the girls division with 5 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals.

The 2016 Chow Games will be held next month.
